sometimes in the morning i'll meet the little boy living downstairs (11 flr)..
he has such good manners..
and such a nice boy..
everyday he'll press the lift for everyone he see coming into the lift..
even if you're 1 metre away and he knows you'll be taking the lift..
he'll wait and press the lift for you..
and he'll chat with all the people and greet them good morning and stuff..
so nice right..
but the sad thing is..
he's repeating primary 6 the second time this year..
and most probably he cant pass his psle again..
not his fault though..
he has low IQ..
so poor thing..
that day he met my sis and they started talking..
he just bought a pack of balloons..
those type that you blow from a tube using straw..
and he seemed so happy..
he said it was for his birthday celebration..
den he asked my sis how to go to ITE..
my sis asked him why he wanna go there..
he said:" if i cant pass my psle den i'll have to go there le."
and he seemed optimistic..
haiz..
after that he wanted to tie his tubes with rubber band but couldn't..
my sis then offered to help..
and he said:" dun need to help me. i'm in pri 6 le i know how to tie."
hearing this makes my sis felt so sad..
ya..
cos he seemed so helpless and yet so determined to be independent..
and so optimistic abt his future..
haiz..
i guess no one can be good in everything..
i really admire this boy..
he has qualities that most ppl dun have..
and his manners..
how many of us will even press the lift for ppl miles away..
we'll even be pressing the 'close' buttom frantically..
i wish him all the best for his future and really hope that he'll succeed in life one day..
he deserves to succeed more than some ppl out there..
